Contrary to what it might seem on television, you have a choice here in Boston: see the concert or see the fireworks. The Hatchshell is at one end of the Esplanade, surrounded by tall trees. The fireworks are sent aloft from barges about a half mile down the river. So, you have to pick which you want to see. We (I) picked the fireworks. Martina McBride we can see anytime. This fireworks show is a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Just ten hours to go.

While buying our picnic provisions for tomorrow in Boston, I spotted this treasure at the supermarket. Yoohoo was a favorite chocolate treat of mine while growing up in the northeast. Can’t wait to share it with the kids.
