Chicago has a higher concentration of Catholics than any city in
America. We couldn’t very well come here and miss Mass. So, we came
here; only seven blocks from the hotel.

We arrived at 7:15 and finished dessert around 10:00. Kate learned
about linger-worthy meals. I got to enjoy her company. A fair trade
for both. While Kate loved getting her doll, this was my high point of
the trip–and it had nothing to do with altitude.

It was a clear night and Kate & Maggie could see for miles. What we
didn’t expect to see were the silver-dollar size spiders on the
outside of the windows. Still, the view was astounding.
