Two roads diverged in a wood…

In a little less than 45 minutes, I will exchange vows with Sandie. By the power vested in Mike Fry, my best friend becomes my wife, five become eight, and a new adventure begins.

DaddyMom will always be part of who I am. But, the life of husband and father will be a welcome change–for me AND the monkey troop.

I am thankful to the many people who made the past nine and a half years a time of growing and learning. Not all lessons are good ones. It’s what you take from them that counts. And, by that accounting, it’s all good.

A new road needs a new site. So, look for future updates at TheMogerBunch.com.

We rejoin everyday life already in progress

The whole New England trip seems a dream as I slide behind the wheel of Lex to head back to the office. Wonder what the kids will remember of our 11 days and thousand miles together.

Okay, no turning back now. With a turn of this key, I reawaken all that’s lay dormant the past two weeks—including me. What a fun trip. More blessings than can be counted. Glad I went. Glad to be back. Time to plan the next big trip; the one I take down the aisle in October. But, first, I will return a few emails:

Sandie nails it

What some people won’t do to avoid pool time. Sandie had an up close and personal experience with one of the popping nails on my deck. I won’t miss that deck when we move—neither will she after this. A quick drive to Doc in the box and she was good as new. I got points from the medic for creative use of duct tape. A win all around. Except for Zuzu, who is still waiting for pool time and Sandie who has to delay her mani-pedi. Thanks also to John for (finally) driving in all the popped nails. By the way, it may be better, but the professional dressing lacks a certain Boy Scout flair. I’m just sayin.

She said yes

Wouldn’t that mean this is just a house?
