You just take the Legos out of the boy

While waiting to meet up with our friends Trish, Jill, and Tara, we had time to check out the Lego store. It’s been at least five years since he and I went to Legoland. He still loves them. After leaving, he said, “remember when just you and I went to Legoland?”. Big daddy smile.

Another night, another tram

We’re on the way to our car–a flight to freedom. The team guy behind us is a hoot. He and Zuzu immediately bonded and started playing off each other. Before getting off, he asked what I did for a living…. Guess what: he pitched me for a job on the spot. It made me wondering how many ways MogerMedia is like a theme park.

Their parents set them on ANNOY

There comes a point when Daddy’s Enough Already light starts blinking. Kate saw it coming as these three little hellians screamed, wrestled, and kept rolling into us. She wisely suggested we skip the parade (still 40 minutes away) before I was driven to do something that would have made for grizzly headlines in the next day’s Orlando Sun.

Taking flight with my own Wendy

There wasn’t a Wendy before Peter Pan. And there never was a princess before there was my sweet Kate. This is such a sweet, wonderful ride. Like the Pooh ride, it stirs memories of the story I didn’t know I remembered. Ditto for the kids.

Time for a speedy escape

Time to get back for Peter Pan’s Flight. So, we took the secret passage under the island. The kids told me to go right. They went left. I turned a corner and Boo! There they were. It is such fun to play with them and even more so that they know I will.
