Our final stop (Thanks Grammy)

There couldn't have been a more perfect ending to our Florida adventure. Even though temps were a frosty 45 degrees, we enjoyed the high-flying fun of Cirque du Soleil's La Nuba. (My translation: freaky people jumping on stuff) Our fifth-row seats were Christmas presents from Grammy. What fun. Even better: we were able to score a DVD of the show to take home.

Last supper in Orlando

For Thanksgiving, we had a traditional holiday meal at Planet Hollywood: Fried cheese, stuffed potato skins, fried chicken, tacos, etc. Just like the pilgrims, we were fed by the locals who were friendly enough to bring us in from the cold.

A great dad moment: happy kids make final exit

There wasn't a smiling face in the bunch of us… Our final exit from The Magic Kingdom. Every one of us wondered how so many days went by so fast.

It's almost showtime at Cirque du Soleil, so we must bid the Magic Kingdom adieu. It was a sad moment for us all, but a sweet one for dad: I'd promised this trip for years and it felt good knowing how much they enjoyed every minute. Well, nearly every minute.

Giving Disney World our last licks

Daddy's favorite ice cream when I was Stella's age: creamsicles. Yummy orange and creamy vanilla soft-serve swirled together into a one-way ticket to carbo comfort country. Yum.
