How could we resist?

We resisted our first time through Manchester. But, we couldn’t go another day without Mexican. Believe it or not, it was pretty good.

Avast, me hearties. Set sail for Isles of Shoals

We’re on our way to visit the Isles of Shoals, a chain of little islands that straddle the New Hampshire/Maine border. The term Shoals comes from the old British term for schools of fish. It’s a lovely day, perfect for a boat ride.

We’re going deep for adventure

20110630-092819.jpg
While I aim for activities that appeal to all, there are some things that are special to just a few, or, in this case, one. The USS Albacore was never intended for war. Instead, it was created to test innovations later used in other subs. Wanna guess who loved this tour?

You’re close….

Yep, John loved it. A real sub he could explore and touch.

The girls were sweet to let John have his fun.

Must be John’s plate

Lotta lobster love

Stella had a hankering for Lobster today. So, before Maine got too far in the rear-view mirror, we had to do something about it.

Now you see ’em. Moments later they were gone. Tasty yums. But, the fun had only just begun.

Good thing Stella wasn’t still hungry when John tried this.
