Daddymom’s nature moment

It seemed like a twig. But, what would a twig be doing in my tub? Why does a twig have moving arms and legs? That’s no twig. It was a baby walking stick. Rockin’ Regan kicks in two

Zu always gets through. My once-upon-a-time sweet-as-sugar baby takes no prisoners when the ball comes to her. I’m not at all sure where she got the killer instinct. But, don’t get between her and the goal.

Tale of two Stellas

Stella D’oro is a New York delicacy. Tasty Italian treats for coffee. Best bread sticks on earth. Anisette Toasts. Mmmm. And who spotted them on our weekly tour of HEB? My Stella. “Did you name me after these?” she asked. Maybe so. As they’ve said for over 75 years, “only the best for Stella D’oro and you.”

Zuzu kicks it again

Zuzu was out practicing her kicks on the front lawn this morning. She can’t wait to get on the field and run around. And, I can’t wait for her to have run around for an hour under the sun. She is a daily reminder of two things: Coffee was invented to even the energy score for grown-ups, and I am a winner every time I get a hug from my soccer star.
