From the beginning

Our living travelogue began so my babies could follow my travels during their time at Camp Grammy. I’m tickled so many have enjoyed going along for the ride. It’s never to late to take the trip: choose a portion from the category list to the left or click HERE and  start at the beginning of our ten-state three-week odyssey. You’ll be viewing by “entry.” So, look for this  above the orange headline:

Navigate through the entries by clicking a green title. The right one, “100 Down…”  takes you forward. The left one, “First farewell” takes you back. “Main” returns you here.

Thanks for taking time to share our adventure; all the fun, none of the car sickness.

All together again

Home at last...

HOUSTON: John’s return brings to a close our summer adventure. The girls can’t wait to have him to blame… Er, I mean, have him home again. But, before we stow those bags, Kate and I are preparing an adventure just for her and me.

5284.6 MILES: In terms od quantum physics a movement that ends where it begins actually doesn’t go anywhere. In Emersonian terms you can’t ever step foot in the same river twice. We’re back where we started, but return profoundly changed. This was a journey of miles. And it was a journey of transformation which has been set free in each one of us… A circle of five, a family complete.

5140.9 MILES: A mere 148 miles remain beteen us and our driveway. The girls are excited about getting home. Counting Austin, we visited ten states in two weeks. The next adventure will be adding up the recepts.
