4950.0 MILES: Alas, this party will end. And, it will  down about 500 miles ahead–less than our first day’s drive to Wichita. Feels goodng back in Texas… It feels a little sad too. Reflection is kicking in; hard to believe it’s only been two weeks.

   
4884.7 MILES: Can you name the singer of the timeless classicam "Abilene" ??? No fair Googling it. We made it here at 11:30 Central Time. The saving gracein this journey is that the kids’ clock is still on Mountain Time. I know we’re all looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tomorrow night.
